Matt Keech
Matt spent 12 years as a Professional Cricketer for Hampshire and Middlesex. He also represented England U19's. After retiring, he coached at various clubs around the world including teams in Australia and New Zealand. Matt is former Dorset Boys EPP Coach and a former Dorset Girls EPP and U18's Lead Coach.
Currently, Matt is Head of Cricket at Canford School overseeing a programme for over 140 boys and girls from beginners to players aiming for professional careers in the game.

Steve Wilson
Steve is an experienced Level 4 Master Coach since 2013 and an Elite Coach Mentor. He also has an impressive track record of developing players that have experienced success in the professional and international game.
Steve is currently Head Coach at Bournemouth University. He oversees the programme and provides coaching sessions for the University students. He was previously Director of Cricket Development at Bashley C.C where he led them to their first SPL title in 2019 and they became the National Indoor Champions in 2022. He is currently the lead girl's coach at Canford School.
Brad Currie
Brad grew up playing for Poole Town before making his long term move to Bashley C.C. He played throughout the Dorset age groups then joined the Surrey C.C Academy. He represented the South and West at Super 4's U17's where he was the lead wicket taker in the competition.

He has been selected twice to tour with Scotland and has been in two World Cup preliminary Squads playing for Scotland A a number of times. He has also played in Scotland's regional tournament for Edinburgh Knights.
​
More recently, Brad was contracted at Sussex last season for 2 months, taking 6-93 on debut at Lords. Also taking 15 first-class wickets at an average of 26.4 and 12 list A wickets at an average 26 on the way to making it to the semi-final in the Royal London One-Day Cup. Brad has been a level 2 coach for the last 5 years, coaching the Dorset EPP as well as multiple Dorset age Groups.
Joey Wormington
Joey has been an incredibly dedicated and hard-working head coach at Poole Town C.C. for several years.
He has tirelessly endeavored to develop his coaching skill set over the last few years and has now achieved his Level 3 Advanced coaching qualification, joining an elite group of coaches in Dorset.

Joey has also coached in the Dorset County pathway.
Anya Hughes
Anya started playing cricket in 2017 for Parley CC and in 2019, made it into the Dorset U15's squad. She also at this time began playing men's cricket for Parley.
In 2020, she was made captain of the Dorset U18's. She now plays for Dorset Women.
Anya is a level 2 coach and also coaches many age groups at Parley as well as the Parley Women alongside coaching County age groups.

Greg Davis
Greg is a qualified Cricket South Africa level 2 coach.
As a player he played for his provincial school before going on to play for some twenty plus years at premier league level.
As a coach for almost 15 years, he has coached all age groups from young juniors right to senior level.
He is also a member of the South African Indoor National Cricket team and was part of the South African Over 40 Indoor squad that played in February 2023.
Chris Park
Chris is a qualified level 2 coach with a wealth of knowledge and coaching experience. Working alongside the likes Monty Panesar, Graeme Swann and even Ben Duckett.
As a wicket keeper batman with Northampton Academy and played 2nd X1 from 17 to 23 years of age. When a wrist injury disrupted his final year contract sadly he was released.

He has played for Dorset men's team from 2001 until 2018 and captained for the final 4 years.
Currently first team player of Bournemouth Sports which are part of the Southern Premier League and has captained for last 5-6 years.
Connor Smith
Connor is a qualified level 2 Coach, playing a good level of cricket at still a young age, bringing great ideas and passion to keen cricketers looking to progress and improve.
He made his Bournemouth CC first team debut in 2019 as a young teenager becoming the youngest player to play for Bournemouth in the Southern Premier top league.
Connor has represented Dorset Cricket through all age groups, starting at U10s and now for the last 2 years in the Dorset Men’s First Team.
He has played Hampshire 2nd eleven over the past couple of years and has just spent the Winter playing in Melbourne, Australia.
Kieran Laird
Kieran is a level 2 core coach.

He began coaching around 4 years ago at Parley CC, and in the last couple of years has been developing his coaching by assisting various age groups in the Dorset Youth setup.
Kieran has played cricket since the age of 5, he got involved in county cricket at 10 years old and was made captain in the first 2 years of county cricket. He is now in the Dorset Men's squad.
Kieran is currently studying Sport Coaching at Cardiff Metropolitan University and has just finished his first year.
Matt Smith
Matt holds an MSc. in Strength and Conditioning from Loughborough University and a BSc in Sport Science from Bangor University. He is currently working towards his UKSCA accreditation.

Matt is currently Head of Athletic Development at Canford School, where he oversees strength and conditioning training for over 200 pupils per week.
​
He oversees all physical development programmes, including sports scholars and High Performing athletes. Matt specialises in helping to develop movement competency, strength, power, speed, and robustness. These qualities help to enhance performance across all aspects of cricket. Furthermore, he works with injured athletes returning to sport and performance.

Previously, he has had experience as an S&C coach at Millfield School, London Irish Rugby Club, and Loughborough University working with athletes from cricket, rugby, hockey, tennis, rowing, and many more.​
James Van Gool
James is a qualified level 2 core cricket coach, who moved over to the UK from South Africa. He represented district as well as regional teams since the age of 10 back in SA. He was selected to represent Dorset U18's in his first cricket season in the country and is playing for Bournemouth CC first team in the Southern Premier top league.

James has a number of years coaching experience with varying age groups from club level to county youth pathway.
He is extremely passionate about both the game and his coaching. James enjoys the process of constant improvement and loves watching cricketers taking their game to the next level.
Kit Blomfield
Kit is a qualified level 2 coach and has represented Wiltshire men's and Wiltshire ages group since u11s. He has also represented Hampshire age group from u16s to u18s.

Kit plays his club cricket for South Wilts where he has been part of the Southern premier league winning side in 2021.
Kit has recently just finished his full time education and will be travelling to Sri Lanka to play cricket in the new year.
